Dimensions with frame 21 1/4" x 17 1/4". Custom frame made of Solid Mahogany. Taking my yearly skiing trip to Steamboat we pass next to the Blue River; Dillion, CO. The area is semi-arrid except for the area directly around the Blue River making for stark contrasts. The sky in the mountains contains some of the most vivid colors imaginable.

Unframed. The inspiration for this painting was a recent cruise.

In the early morning as the sun crests the hills you can get some unusual ground cloud displays where it appears as though the clouds are being given life from the hills around. Near my home in the Monadnock Mountains of Southern, NH.

This painting is from my days working down south from South Texas to Louisiana.

Frame: color is drift wood and is prefabricated from solid wood from Mexico. Lake Winona, Minnesota in the late fall 2004 while visiting my Father. Each morning I would take the 5 mile walk around the lake. As you round the southeastern end of the lake you can view Sugarloaf, a sandstone bluff high above the river basin.

Washington, NH. is one of the few places I have been very close to a Loon. One Saturday swimming with my friend Niecy loons fished close to us for an hour.

Framed sold mahogany wood frame. The frame pulls the river to life. The Mississippi river is a wide expanse. The river flows into and between numerous small sand bars and islands in this section which is near the Winona, MN. area.

Acadia National Park is the second most visited National Park in the USA. Located in upper Maine along the sea coast. You can see a wide variety of birds and sea wildlife. The island was owned and maintained by the Rockefellers at one time. There all kinds of bike and carriage paths on the island and a special view from Cadillac Mountain. At low tide you can drive across the harbor to the island in the distance.

Frame: Solid hardwood from Mexico Squam lake is located in the White Mountains in New Hampshire. There is a short mile hike from the road in Ashland, NH. to see this spectacular view.

Take Route 13 north out of Goffstown, NH and you will find on your left a sign to Pillsbury State Park. It is a wonderful area of water, swamp and trees.

This painting sold at my first professional art showing. This was one of the those awe inspiring days the sky was indeed this blue and the Asplunds at or near 10,000 ft. have a distinctly golden hue. And as always the skiing was something special in Steamboat Springs, CO.

This surrealistic view of the New Hampshire forest and wonderful lakes at dusk.

Dimensions framed 25" x 21". Prefabricated frame made of Mexican hardwood. In the Fall of 2005 I drove from Winona, MN. to Rochester, MN. to visit my Dad . I passed a tree that captivated my imagination. It was near Halloween so I thought orange and black were in order. The result is a somewhat spooky feel to it with half open shed and old junk car in the back ground with an old rickety fence.

The Trempealeau River dumps into the Mississippi River near Fountain City, WI. A beautiful area of marshes and swamps. Home to nesting Bald Eagles.

The inspiration was my drive by the refuge and a photo from my cousin Paul Goetting of Fountain City, WI. It is a beautiful rural area across the river from Winona, MN. The National Wildlife refuge is frequented by Bald eagles who enjoy the abundance of fish and other food in the area.

The Sante Fe, New Mexico area is a wonderful area and as you travel west you start to see the locations of ancient civilizations.
